My primary design service is colour and design consultation. Together we decide upon a plan and colour scheme, based on your preferences and my experience, and coordinating with the existing materials, fabrics, finishes and artwork. The amount of light and the size and usage of the rooms are also considered.

Once the colour scheme has been determined and the wall and trim colours have been narrowed down to two or three options, I take digital photographs of each of the rooms and then "paint" different wall and trim colours onto the photos using computer software. I provide you with full colour photographs of your various selections, to help you make a decision.

I can also assist you in selecting and arranging furnishings and artwork, and designing window treatments and built-ins. My approach to interior design is to help you use your existing most valued items to their best advantage. Purchasing new furniture or artwork may not be necessary in many cases. If new items are needed, I can make use of a wide range of retailers from the Art Shoppe to IKEA, depending on your budget.

My background is in both Interior Design and Information Technology.

I graduated in July 2002 with High Honours in Interior Design from the International Academy of Design in Toronto, and was the top Interior Design graduate of 2002. My education provided me with experience in colour theory, space planning, architectural detailing, materials, drawing and rendering, AutoCAD, and other design-oriented skills.

My successful Information Technology career has provided me with the opportunity to manage projects and budgets, to develop excellent communication and presentation skills, and to become proficient in many PC-based software products.

I have participated in a number of renovations with clients, from whole-house makeovers and additions to simple colour facelifts.
